It's called "Cocaine" but it doesn't contain the drug you think it does. Cocaine's inventor, Jamie Kirby, has said that it has "a fun name", which makes people "smile".
The appearance on the British market of the drink is set to spark a storm of protest in the wake of soaring fears over the effects on young drinkers of Red Bull. Trade magazine the Morning Advertiser said that it had been told by sources from the newly-formed company Ocke Cokey that the high-caffeine stimulant drink Cocaine, made from guarana and containing 750 milligrams of taurine, is now available in both the on and off-trade in the UK.

The new product is rolled out in red 8.4oz cans with the words “Cut Cocaine” spelled out in a white granular substance. The US version of the Cocaine drink contained wasabi and cinnamon to “numb the throat to simulate the effect of taking cocaine”. Many stores in the U.S., including 7-11, have banned it. It's technically not for sale in Canada, but you can order it over the Internet. Cocaine is unavailable in Texas, following a dispute with the state's attorney general. Cocaine will not be going on sale in Australia who are refusing to import it. Apart from the most unfortunate name of the drink, Australia has restrictions on caffeine levels in drinks - currently 145mg per liter (33.8 fl. oz).

Cocaine energy drink supplements:
Caffeine - Stimulates  your brain & central Circulatory System. Caffeine will enter into the blood stream in a short time (10-15 minutes). The effects of Caffeine last for about 3-4 hours.
Guarana - Is a type of seed from South America. It naturally contains caffeine. Used as a source of extreme energy.
Taurine - an abundant amino acid found naturally in the body. It can enhance glucose and amino acid transport to the muscles and helps regulate the nervous system. No one is positive exactly of the benefits, but it has been shown to detoxify & cleanse the system.
Dextrose -Iis a simple sugar that is about 20% less sweet compared to cane sugar. It is derived entirely from corn, is low-cost, and contains no fructose or lactose.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)- Is required for our bodies immune system. Helps produce white blood cells and t-cells.
Inositol - is a member of the vitamin B  family. Aids in digestion, the breakdown of fats and reduces cholesterol in the blood; it helps prevent hardening of the arteries, and may protect nerve fibers from excess glucose damage. Has a natural calming and relaxing  effect and may be used in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder without the side effects.
Vitamin B6 & B12 - assist the body in converting the nutrients in the food into energy. These vitamins help counter the effects of fatigue and nervousness.

With 280 miilgrams of caffeine in each can, it went far beyond the others. And now many are asking is it dangerous for them? It's not the danger that's the problem, believes Dr. Miriam Kaufman of the Hospital for Sick Children. It's the example it sets. "It's made to appeal to kids ... I don't think it's a good thing to make cocaine cool, to glamourize it," she worries. She also added: "You knock back two or three of these, you might have heart palpitations, you might even have hallucinations."

Research has shown that people who consume too much caffeine can experience the following side effects:
